The missionaries' desire was to take school supplies and backpacks to these children attending a rural village school. There are 100 children at this school. We sent over the school supplies, however purchasing and shipping backpacks is not overly economical. I inquired if they could purchase backpacks in country. She said they could for $3 each! A supporter had just sent us a check for $300 to use wherever needed most. Well 100 x $3 is $300! So we sent the funds over for the backpacks. The missionary couple travelled to a Bag Wholesale place where they could purchase the best backpacks. They were also offered the option of customizing the backpacks. So they had G.S.P. put on every backpack to remember and acknowledge God's blessing through God's Share Program. That picture of all the kiddos with GSP on their backpacks just melts my heart. God is just providing us with so many opportunities to be the conduit to connect His blessings to those in need. We love it! It makes all the hard work of fundraising and taking in donations, sorting and selling them, all the hard work and sweat worth every single minute! All of us at God's Share Program are so grateful for these opportunities God gives us! And it's just not our crew here it's all of you who are just as big a part of God's Share Program with your financial gifts and prayers.
