Christmas Packing Continues...

We spent another 5 hours Saturday, October 18th packing more Christmas care packages for our missionary families. Each package is tailored for the individuals in each family. This year we even gave them the opportunity of sharing a wish list item with us.

October 4th - The Packing Begins!

Because packages are opened in customs and due to the fact we get as much as we can in a box to keep shipping costs as low as possible, we do not wrap individual items. However, we do attach gift tags, spruce up the box with tissue paper, and throw in some peppermints to provide a little Christmas flair!

We Get Our Shopping Done Eary!

This year we gave the missionaries an opportunity to share with us a wish list item for each member of the family. In the foreground of these pictures you'll see shopping bags containing those wish list items! In the background are all the items for the Christmas Care Packages that have been sorted and bagged up by family. Voluneeters will spend two Saturdays carefully packing each box.

Let the Christmas Care Package Process Begin!

Every missionary family receives a few of the same fun, practical, and snack items but then we tailor each box to each individual family.
